Our premises at Great Harwood include a shop which is open 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 12pm on Saturday.
FEED SUPPLEMENTS
Many tack shops have a bewildering array of different supplements, many claiming to do the same thing. To make it as simple as possible for the horse owner, we have selected what we believe to be the best products for each condition. Knowledgeable staff are on hand to offer advice on the best products for your horse.
CREAMS & SHAMPOOS
We stock the most effective products for each condition. Please note that some products are prescription only medicines and require the vet to have examined your horse before they can be prescribed.
WORMERS
Many wormers now contain the same ingredients and to make it simple for you, we stock only one brand of wormer which contains each active ingredient. This is usually the cheapest one available. We can supply worming plans, carry out worm egg counts and offer advice on the best wormers to use.
FIRST AID ITEMS
We can supply tailor made first aid kits to suit your requirements and budget or you can buy a wide variety of first aid items from thermometers and scissors to wound hydrogels and dressings to replenish you kit.
BANDAGES & DRESSINGS
We stock a wide range of dressings, poultices and bandages to treat every type of wound
FREE ADVICE SHEETS
Free advice sheets are available on topics such as laminitis, treatment of mud rash, itchy legs, and lice.
COLLECTION OF MEDICINES
If it is inconvenient to attend our Great Harwood shop during opening hours, we can arrange postage of products or collection from our 24 hour collection centre at Martholme Farm, Great Harwood (Accessed by combination lock), providing payment is made in advance.
