ROUTINE VISITS
We can carry out free monthly visits to larger livery yards on a set date and time each month. This means that clients never have to pay visit fees for routine treatment such as vaccinations, tooth rasping and check-ups.

HALF PRICE VISIT DAYS
We carry out visits at half the normal price on certain days each month for most areas with a BB, BL0. BL9, BL8, OL11, OL13 or PR3 post code. If your visit is not urgent, please call the office to ask when the next half price day is for your area.

STUD WORK
We are a British Equine Veterinary Association approved centre for A.I using frozen and chilled semen and we offer a wide range of breeding services from simple pregnancy scans to embryo transfer. Fertility work can be done at your premises, our Great Harwood centre or at Holden Fold Stud near Darwen. Click here for more information

DENTISTRY SERVICES
Our comprehensive service offers everything from routine rasping at competitive prices to more in depth procedures such as extractions which cannot legally be carried out by horse dentists. We are well equipped with the latest manual and electrical equipment and we offer a reminder service to let you know when your horse’s teeth are due a check-up.
 

JMB HEIGHT MEASUREMENTS
David Aldington is registered as an official measurer for the Joint Measurement Board. We have an approved measuring pad at our Great Harwood premises which is under cover and away from any distractions so your horse can fully relax before being measured.

Our shop at Great Harwood stocks a range of feed supplements, wormers, first aid items, dressings , bandages, creams and shampoos. Please feel free to call in and see us.
